For full paying guests sharing accommodation:

For 2005 please add between 7 % and 10% on to the net rate. There are a couple of Third Party properties involved and we do not know what their increments will be.

INCLUDED IN COST
  • All light air transfers between camps within Botswana and Namibia as specified on a seat in plane basis (i.e. not private).
  • All accommodation on a shared basis.
  • Meals as specified in the itinerary.
  • Twice daily game activities at lodges and camps, inclusive of park fees where applicable.
  • Excursions as specified in the itinerary, including all entrance fees where applicable.
  • Entrance fees are based on the current prices and are subject to change.
  • All transfers specified in the itinerary.
  • Services of the lodge guides and staff.
  • South African Value Added Tax and Namibian Value Added Tax.
  • Drinks policies vary: Please refer to your itinerary for specific details - the Botswana -Wilderness Safari's Camps include all drinks except for premier brands. The Namibian Wilderness Safari's Camps include drinks on game-drives and house wine at dinner. A drinks-inclusive price can be given on request for Namibian properties at USD 10.00 per person per night.
  • All supplemental information. We provide each guest with a trip handbook and field guide. We also provide first-class customer support for each client to help them with all their travel plans.
  • Meet and greet services as specified in the itinerary.
  • Transportation in South Africa by luxury, air-conditioned coach with the service of an English-speaking driver.
  • The services of a specialist guide
  • Please note that there is a minimum of a 3-month cancellation policy for all specialist guides. If specialist guides are cancelled within the 3 month time period from date of travel, then cancellation fees will be applicable)
  • Porterage at airports/ hotels in South Africa only.
  • Laundry at all Wilderness Safari's camps in Botswana (excluding Gudigwa Camp).
  • SATOUR levy on all South African services.
NOT INCLUDED IN COST
  • All scheduled domestic and international flights and their departure taxes.
  • All items of a personal nature i.e. additional meals, activities not specified, curios etc.
  • All relevant visa fees and departure taxes.
  • All drinks in the city centres and camps where the drinks policy is not specified.
  • Any new Botswana, South African or Namibian Government taxes.
  • All gratuities. These can be included in the safari cost if pre-arranged at the suggested cost of approximately USD 15.00 per guest per day.
  • Laundry costs at South African properties.
  • Any insurance for any expenses incurred for any unforeseen circumstance or for reasons beyond our control.

Availability:
The quote is subject to availability of accommodation, vehicles and guides at time of reservation.

Amendments to quoted prices:
The price quoted is subject to change in the event of any unforeseen increases in fuel costs (relevant to aircraft or coach services) and/or Government levies.

Scheduled/charter flights:
We can book and issue tickets for all internal scheduled flights for your guests, please let us know if you require this service. Airfares, if quoted, are at current rates and are subject to increase without prior notice at the discretion of the scheduled airline concerned. We have close affiliations with charter companies and can also provide charter costs into and out of main centres if required. As light aircraft are involved, a maximum of 12 kgs (26.4 lbs) per person in soft carryall bags is strictly adhered to (this includes camera equipment and carry on baggage). If guests exceed this limit, they will have to pay considerable amounts to have a privately chartered plane to fly their excess bags around. If guests are unable to, or not wanting to adhere to these baggage restrictions then please advise us in advance. We do have the facility where guests can purchase an additional seat for carrying excess bags. Costs quoted are based on seat rates. If you are requiring private services or any additional space for luggage etc., then please advise and there will be a surcharge applicable. As the inter-camp transfers are done by light aircraft, the guest's weight is a criteria. If any guests weigh in excess of 100 kgs (220 lbs), please advise us, as an additional seat needs to be arranged.

Drinks on Light Aircraft and other Transfers:
Please note that this is not normally arranged but can be done on request at a minimal cost (approximately US$3.00 per person).

Ability:
Adventurers of all skill levels are welcome on this tour.

Activities:
Most of the camps and lodges include two activities per day in their tariff. These usually take place in the morning and the afternoons. If you would like more activities, then we suggest that you book private services for part or their entire safari. This service does cost extra and is subject to availability. The average cost for this service is approximately US$400 per boat/vehicle per day (please note that this is not applicable in instances where the guests have exclusive use of any of the camps/lodges). In the city centre's, costs quoted are based on coaches that are utilized at full capacity. If you require additional space for luggage etc., there will be a surcharge applicable. Activities and transfers are based on a scheduled cost. Where possible we will endeavor to keep a group private but cannot guarantee this unless we quote on a private basis. We have ground operations in all five major countries i.e. Botswana, Namibia, South Africa, Zambia and Zimbabwe. If you require an extension to any of these countries, please give us the opportunity to quote on this.

Departure Taxes: (current & subject to change)
The following departure taxes are applicable to your Safari. Please advise us if you would like to include any of these in your Safari cost. Alternatively guests can settle directly. Airport and Passenger Taxes

Laundry:
Laundry can be done at all the camps. Some camps include laundry in their tariff; others charge a nominal tariff for this service. Laundry can be done at all the hotels at an additional cost.
